Entries open for communications industry awards

Nominations for the Australian telecommunications industry’s premier awards — the ACOMMS — which recocognise innovation, have opened.

The 11 categories also look at excellence in customer service, marketing and product solutions across the breadth of the telecommunications sector.

The ACOMM awards will be presented at the 12th Annual ACOMMS Dinner on 29 August at the Hyatt Regency, Sydney, with the Communications Minister Mitch Fifield delivering the keynote address. Nominations for the awards close on 11 May.

“I encourage companies small and large to submit their work in relevant categories,” chief executive of the primary telecommunications industry body, Communications Alliance head John Stanton said.

“Once again we expect the awards to produce strong competition and look forward to honouring the organisations that have showcased the highest standards and industry best practice over the past year.”

The 2018 ACOMMS will be awarded to companies that have excelled in:

  • Satellite Provider of the Year Award

  • Best Marketing Initiative
  • Best Mobile Solution
  • IoT Innovator
  • Communications Ambassador Award
