Cambridge Audio TVB2 sound bar for British sound

Cambridge Audio has announced a new TVB2 sound bar with Bluetooth and a wireless subwoofer.

Sound bars and sound bases are becoming the norm with reported Australian attachment rates reaching 70% and dedicated AV receivers and speaker systems on the decline. The problem is there is a plethora of brands, specifications, and prices.

Since 1968 Cambridge Audio has been known for great British sound – best described as pure, unfiltered and natural instead of the heavier bass of US brands and the exaggerated mid-range of Asian brands. A video at the end of the article describes this.

CA TVB2The main benefits of the TVB2 is that it uses Cambridge Audio BMR pedigree speakers, a solid subwoofer, three HDMI ports (switching including 4K pass though), has an IR learning remote, and is priced at $649.

Philip Sawyer, managing director, Synergy Audio Visual, Australian distributors, said, “It's quality over quantity, when it comes to the TVB2. Cambridge Audio has put all its exceptional audio know-how and patented technology into its sound bar, the result, a beautiful sound bar that delivers booming audio, to fill a room of any size.”
