Hyland expands APAC business with Aussie reseller FileStream

IT solutions provider Hyland has forged a reseller agreement with FileStream to expand its footprint in the Asia Pacific market in a move to reach a broader target market of enterprise customers in the records and information management space.

Under the agreement, FileStream will offer a range of information management solutions from Hyland in the APAC market, including onBase by Hyland, an enterprise information platform product, and Hyland’s ShareBase cloud sharing application.

“Hyland is very committed to our continued growth within the APAC region, and FileStream brings a wealth of experience and proven success to our valued partner channel,” said Bob Dunn, Australia country manager at Hyland.

“The addition of FileStream as a strategic partner provides both vertical and horizontal expertise, as well as an established market presence in providing strategic content management solutions.”

Dunn said FileStream also provided its customers with implementation and enablement services across cloud, mobile, data capture and case management technologies.

Last week Melbourne Health announced it had digitised its health record and data in advance of a future electronic medical record (EMR) system tender and anticipated integration using the OnBase by Hyland enterprise information platform.

Under the deal with Hyland, the Melbourne-based healthcare provider will also deploy the enterprise OnBase software solution in its finance department to support back-office functions, such as payroll.

RECOVERING FROM RANSOMWARE

Ransomware is a type of malware that blocks access to your files and systems until you pay a ransom.
